Equine-Facilitated Psychotherapy
Horses are both powerful and sensitive, and are conscious of the energy, emotions, and intentions of those around them. They offer their insights authentically, without judgement. As we grow and change, they grow and change with us. Equine-facilitated sessions offer deeper insight through hands-on engagement with horses.
Walk and talk therapy is also offered in this outdoor setting
In-person sessions are located at a beautiful horse farm, with options to meet in an indoor office, or in a quiet, private outdoor setting. Nature-based therapy at this location is accessible to a variety of activity levels, with beautiful sitting areas and well-maintained hiking trails.
Occupational therapy
Heather Ajzenman, OTD, OTR/L, HPCS and consulting OT’s provide family-centered occupational therapy that incorporates hippotherapy, DIRFloortime,® and other relationship-based approaches that advocate and celebrate neurodiversity and other disabilities.

Equine-Facilitated Experiential Learning
Equine Facilitated Learning is a unique, coaching-based experience that helps individuals build self-awareness, leadership, and authentic connection through partnership with horses. Using guided, hands-on sessions, clients develop skills in trust, boundaries, and resilience that translate directly into everyday life. This is support that goes beyond conversation and invites lasting change through experience, connection, and embodied learning.

Farriery
Established in 2009, I continue to offer farrier services to select clients both on and off site. As always, your existing farrier is welcome at AIEC.
